From his lecture "A Universe From Nothing", Lawrence Krauss reveals why he believes that the universe is flat.

Can a universe be created out of nothing? Is it round, curved, flat? Is it fine tuned? In his 2009 lecture for the Richard Dawkins Foundation for Reason and Science, Lawrence Krauss showed everyone that he believes the universe is flat. He talks about how he figured out his theory with plenty of science.

"We are all star dust..." said Lawrence, "So forget Jesus, the stars died so you could be here today,."

Here is a sciencey chart from his lecture.

If you want to watch Lawrence Krauss' lecture, you can find it here. I highly recommend it.
