Pentecostals flock to Pastor toddler who only speaks in tongues.

Updated: Mar 4, 2020

When a Pastor feels the spirit of the lord so much that he speaks in a language that not even he knows, some consider it a miracle. This 16 month Toddler has such a gift.

Glossolalia or speaking in tongues is a phenomenon in which people speak words that are apparently in languages unknown to the speaker, in some cases as part of religious practice in which it is believed to be a divine language unknown to the speaker.

When Tyler Parker was 6 months old, they brought him to church where he laughed whenever the Pastor started talking in tongues. Since then, he started talking incoherently while lying in his crib. It was at that point his parents knew they had someone special on their hands.

"A goo goo, a gaa gaa." exclaimed Tyler. At which point he soiled himself. "See! He's divine!" said his mom.

They immediately brought Tyler to be accessed by Paster Stevenson, who said this, "If that baby isn't speaking in tongues, then I don't know anything about the Universe."

People started showing up and camping outside the Parker household just so they could hear young Tyler speak. The Parkers have since then rented out a vacant store in a strip mall and have called it the First Church of the Babbling Babe where Pentecostals from all around pilgrimage to see their new religious leader.

At no point did the Parkers think of bringing young Tyler to a pediatrician to see if there was anything unusual. When Dr. Grace Templeton was asked about the situation, she had this to say, "It sounds like normal baby sounds. Quit wasting my time."
