LDS to change their name once again to Jefferson Star Planet.

The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, who were once known as the Mormons are changing their name once again to that of Jefferson Star Planet.

Yet after another change of the main members, The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is going ahead and changing their name once again for licensing and tax purposes.

Originally calling themselves Mormons, then the Latter Day Saint movement of Restorationist Christianity, they finally changed their name to its current incarnation.

"Everything will be the same, the same book, songs, hymns, all that Jazz. We are just adding a few new things to keep with the times, like the usage of telephones and now you're allowed to eat popsicles.", said JSP leader Howard Justice. "and our sacred undergarments will now be made of spandex and will sparkle in the stage lights."

When asked why would you go through all this trouble for a name change that seems some what trivial, he responded with, "The youngsters may not get it, but those older than 40 will and they will think it's quite clever."
